What are the Abbreviations?

One of the most used elements in texts are abbreviations, which can be found frequently, for example; in the dates and signatures of both formal and informal documents.

Abbreviation meaning:

Abbreviations are defined as; "an orthographic convention that allows to reduce the size of words and to make a text shorter". They work as a contraction of the word or group of words in question, generally formed by the first and last letters, although it can vary depending on the case.
