Geneva is exceptionally beautiful, surrounded by high mountains on the shores of Lake Geneva, to the west of Switzerland a few kilometers from France. Geneva is a great mix of the modern and the old. Simply a city to be loved, (and a little broke).
Geneva is clean, tidy, well-organized, elegant and conservative. There are many diplomats, bankers and businessmen from all over the world. More than half of the city’s residents have a different passport than Swiss.
Geneva is a very pretty city, you will always come across a sensational building or attraction, and the many green parks and the exclusive Old Town are a delight to stroll around. And it is a delight to explore the many restaurants and you will find of pinches to make the night enjoyable too. But remember to bring money. Switzerland is not a cheap country.
