From the Latin rete, the term network is used to define a structure that has a characteristic pattern. There are multiple types of network, namely the computer network, the electrical network and the social network.

A computer network is the set of computers and other interconnected equipment that share information, resources and services. It can, in turn, be divided into several categories, that is, according to its range (local area network or LAN, metropolitan area network or MAN, wide area network or WAN, etc.), of its connection method ( coaxial cable , optical fiber, radio, microwave, infrared) or their functional relationship (client-server, person-to-person), among others.
The electrical grid, in turn, is the one that is formed by electrical generators, transformers, transmission lines and distribution lines, which take electricity to residential/local users/consumers. The system uses different voltages where the highest voltages are used for longer distances, while voltages are reduced as the energy gets closer to the user’s premises.
With regard to the social network, the concept refers to the entire structure in which different individuals maintain various types of relationships (friendship, business, sexual, etc.).

Hammock can also refer to the hammock that is used to rest, very common in houses on the beach or on the porch of common houses with a backyard, for example. In this case , they receive various types of names such as: hammock, hammock, hammock , among others.

In Brazil, in colonial times, hammocks were used not only for sleeping, but also for burying dead people and for transporting objects and people, as in the case of slaves who transported the settlers in them to walk around the city.

In the northeast region of Brazil, hammocks are used a lot for sleeping, especially on hot days. These nets are usually made of different materials such as nylon or fabric, for example.

Another use of the term “network” is also applied when referring to “network”. In this case, it is common to use the term “contact network” to define a group of people with whom one has a common interest. For example: when you hire a certain service and like what was delivered by the professional and then refer this contact to a friend, what you are doing here is “network” or creating a network of interesting contacts.

The meaning of social network has evolved in recent years, as the term was initially used to refer to Internet sites that promote virtual communities according to interests. MySpace and Facebook are two such social networks that bring together millions of users, allowing them to exchange messages and files with other members of the network.

We also have the net used for fishermen to catch fish and shellfish, they are known as fishing nets and are made of a thin fiber fabric. The meshes of the fishing net need to be smaller than the size of the fish or shellfish, thus preventing them from escaping through there.
